So I'm going to start off this episode by talking from the heart because Lanzo ball is back

playing basketball. And I try to figure out like it would I care as much if I wasn't a Bulls fan? Probably not.

But Lonzo Ball had gone 1,000 plus days without playing NBA level basketball. That is insane to

say aloud. I have a two and a half year old daughter. She was not in this world just yet when the

last time Lonzo Ball played basketball for the Bulls. And for him to come back in his preseason game was so electric. Like I was telling my wife, there's a 0% chance he looks good. This is just a zero. Like we are here for the cool story to say that Lonzo Ball came back. He's back playing basketball. But I wholeheartedly did not expect him to do anything

on the court. It was about the moment. And I think the Bulls did a pretty good job of making sure

they got a lot of moments that would have been able to live, even if he had a poor shooting night

or he got torched defensively or whatever, whatever. Lanzo ball, first game in a thousand

plus days, 15 minutes, 10 points, a steel, a block, a rebound. He actually looked pretty good, man. Now, of course, he wasn't moving as good as he did last time he played for the Bulls. He has an entirely new knee, a procedure that has never been done and been done successfully for a professional athlete to come back to play their sport. He is a one-of-one

type of patient, and he's done it. And it's such a cool moment because obviously we recognize that

in order to get to this level, these athletes have to put in so, so much time that they have to

live, they have to sleep, they have to eat basketball. And Lonzo did that. And he got to the

point he was the second overall

pick. And we basically watched Lonzo Ball grow up, right? From ball in the family to him playing

and having crazy highlights at Chino Hills, been one of the most dominant high school teams of all
