I quit my job. I really did it. I have turned in my resignation as a daily talk show

host on the National Serious XM platform, and my last day will be Friday.

And you have to understand what a big deal this is for me.

I have been on Serious XM for years. My show is two hours a day, every weekday. And it's

talk radio. I'm talking for two hours a day every day and think about it it's live well normally

right now the whole pandemic thing it's not live right now we've been pre-taping for a while but generally it's a

live show so you have to understand what a huge thing that is in my daily

schedule that for years now I am on the air from one to three every weekday.

I just am day after day after day.

This is the schedule that I know. I have to start doing show prep at 9 a.m. no I'm kidding.

No, I'm kidding.

1245. Okay, well it depends on the day to be honest. I have to start doing show prep at a certain time

depending on what's going on and then I'm just on the air from one to three.

And my whole life has revolved around this for years. And now I think after Friday, if any of us can ever travel again, when I book flights, I don't have to take the earliest flight

to get to my destination in time to do my show,

which starts at 1 PM Central, 2 PM East.

Or I don't have to take the latest flight to get to the airport

after I'm off the air.

I'm about to be a normal human being who could meet someone for lunch at noon. Do you know the last time I could meet someone for lunch at noon.

So all this is to establish. This is a huge deal. It was a very stable job with benefits and I quit it in the middle of a pandemic. people's favorite chapter in my new book, the one that everyone's talking about.
