Summary

Tonight’s guest, Patrick Perry, lives in Branson, Missouri, but his Sasquatch experiences took place about an hour from St. Louis, in a town called St Clair. You see, about 7 years ago, Patrick was living with his sister, because he had fallen on hard times. Things weren’t going well for her back then either, so things were pretty rough, financially, for them. To help put food on the table, Patrick asked his sister if she’d have a problem with him trying to harvest a deer, for the two of them, from a hunting stand on her property. She told him that she though it was a good idea, so that evening, he went out to the stand and nestled in. Normally, Patrick would have obeyed hunting laws and hunted during legal shooting hours, but back then, deer in that area would almost exclusively come out after dark, so Patrick planned to hunt all night, if need be. Not long after he climbed into the stand, around 8 PM, he fell asleep. He didn’t see any animals and he was alone, so he drifted off. Sometime around 2 AM, though, he realized that something was paying him a visit. He had company. It was the kind of company he prayed he wouldn’t see too.

1:02.0	I'm a carpenter, I live in Branson, Missouri, but my experiences took place about an hour outside of St. Louis in a town called St. Clair.
1:15.0	It was about seven years ago now, I was living out that way, I live in Branson now, but I lived out that way.
1:27.0	And it was dear season, I was a hunter, I like to bow hunt, I was living at my sister's house for a little bit, and we were both hitting hard times.
1:43.0	I was a union carpenter and I wasn't working at the time, and she just lost her job too, and her husband was disabled.
1:53.0	So I was trying to put a little meat on the table for us, and I generally don't do things like this, but at the time we were just trying to get some meat on the table.
2:06.0	So the deer were not running during the day, and they seemed to only be moving at night, which was kind of strange, because before this, you saw them everywhere during the day.
2:20.0	I mean the deer were everywhere, all of a sudden they just seemed to disappear, so I thought maybe the bucks had gone into rut early, and we're running the doe's ragged.
2:32.0	So I asked her, I was like, hey, do you mind if I sit out in my blind, you know, in the evening, and maybe sit in overnight and see if I can get something.
2:42.0	She was like, no, go ahead.
2:45.0	So I proceeded one evening to go out to the deer blind, and I got set up for the evening hunt.
