0:21.6	in the life of our church where we find ourselves right now.
0:27.0	The moment I have in mind is more generally the
0:31.0	overlapping phase in the transition process
0:37.0	between my 32 years here as lead pastor for preaching and vision and the person who will fulfill that role
0:48.6	after me that phase that we're in right now that's going to involve some overlapping in.
0:54.8	The specific moment I want to speak into is the seven-week moment in which we find ourselves between last Tuesday night's unanimous vote of
1:07.0	the Council of Elders to recommend Jason Meyer as the associate for preaching and vision and your vote on May 20 in response to that recommendation.
1:24.0	So that's the moment of our church,
1:28.0	this wonderful, amazing, historic moment that I want to speak God's word into. I will say more
1:40.4	about that moment and that person.
1:43.3	Jason, I will stand him here with his family
1:45.6	in a few minutes and pray over that family with you.
1:51.3	But our first business is to hear from God.
1:57.0	And so I'm going to pray now and ask for his help as we do that.
2:02.0	So Father, here we are in need of a voice that is not mine, nor
2:09.8	jasons We have it written in a book and we want to hear it now. Now in the power of the Holy Spirit as I make an effort to give it voice in this sermon.
2:30.0	So come and speak into this historic moment of our church what this church on each of these campuses needs to hear.
2:43.0	Humble me under your word.
2:45.0	Carry me by your spirit.
