In order to be effective as an under shepherd, we need to be what?

We need to be close in contact with the chief shepherd because he's the Lord of the Church.

He's the boss.

He's the one that gives the instructions and the orders.

And what we do is we obey what God tells us to do.

And we want to do it effectively.

here in chapter 5 verse 1, he begins with an exhortation, as we've been looking, an

exhortation to leaders.

And surely leaders of a need to be exhorted.

Why?
