How can he say he loves God who he has never seen?

Peter brings up some pretty incredible issues as we've been studying First Peter

because what's incredible is the way he comes up now is for the last three weeks.

He speaks about the wives and the husbands submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

And then now what he's going to do is going to change all things as he now is coming to that great conclusion of the first letter of First Peter, but he still has chapter four and chapter five.

But the way he begins verse 8, it's interesting.

He says, finally.

And then there's a comma.

And what's amazing about that is that he's beginning to close the letter, but not yet.

There is more to come that I want to share with you.

Now, you've got to remember they were living in a place where there was great persecution going on. Great persecution. Rome was ruling over the world.
