Every internal sense of anger that I'd ever had over my entire life just came out of my mouth

because this thing, this big black, anger thing was killing us.

Who faced death.

From behind me, I hear a voice that says,

you better get the hell out of the way,

or you're going to be shot too.

I pushed him off of me, and I hit him.

And the first hit felt good.
