Morning everybody, welcome along to your free podcast for today.

Gosh, it seems ages.

Does it not seem ages since we last spoke on the free podcast?

Because we always take a break over the festive season,

have done for as many years as I've been alive on this earth.

And so everything goes off kilter, but now, apparently, it's all finished.

So, no more Christmas music, except in my car, I'm still playing it, I'm still going for the Christmas music.

No more Christmas films, not in my place.

I'm still watching the Christmas films.

No more pretty lights.

No, no, no, I know, still got them up. Still got them up,

still twinkling away. All those sets of lights. It's lovely. And I did speak to somebody the other day,

and they said, oh, I've just taken my Christmas tree down. I said, what for? I said, I'm still

celebrating the festive season. I get in every night. I put on a little rouge on my cheeks and a little hat and I become an elf.

And I just sit there cross-legged, you know, eating duck spring rolls because I've got a ponchant for duck spring rolls.

I quite like them actually. Something small and convenient that you can fit into your mouth.

You know, and that's a duck spring roll. That is the nice bit. That is the nice bit of it.

But the weather atrocious. Not down here, but probably where you are, Cambridge here, Buckinghamshire,

Bedfordshire, really appalling. Up in the Midlands, they've had snow like you've never seen. People,

you know, the usual thing. We all go, oh, isn't it pretty? Not me. I'm always the first one to go, it's very pretty if you're inside and you don't need to go out for about a month. Then it's pretty. The rest of the time, as your car slides all over the place, there is the danger of accidents. Please say, look at me, giving you advice. You know these things, but still the buffoons go out there, don't they? Still, they go out there. Still, you know, you'll see a puddle and somebody will drive through it and then they get stuck in the middle of it and we all go you are an absolute ace buffoon poor souls honestly anyway somebody who isn't and is coming up to a hundred and he doesn't want to fuss and he he's going to have nothing to do with any celebrations. Yes, it's Prince Philip.
