0:16.2	A few years ago I worked in the wine industry and I travelled to Australia to try to broaden my
0:20.6	experience of the industry, as well as of life and to try out living abroad for a while. I also knew the pay there was vastly higher
0:28.7	than what it was in my home at the time, in the UK. I had quite a bit of experience, a decent CV slash resume, great
0:36.3	qualifications in the industry and academically, and I was young and eager. At the time I had a
0:42.3	one-year work visa, but this could have been extended
0:45.2	to two or longer depending on the employer. I applied for loads of jobs. Many were listed on the
0:51.4	various employment websites, industry specific ones, gum tree, and if I like the sound of it, I applied for it.
0:58.0	I also wrote to various wineries in the area that I really liked with my CV and various details.
1:04.3	I got a lot of replies, but one of my favorites got back to me.
1:07.8	They put me in touch with their hiring manager.
1:10.0	I was stoked to have an interview with one of my favorite wineries in the region for a sales rep job.
1:15.0	I drove to the winery and met with the hiring manager and had the interview of my life.
1:20.0	I nailed it.
1:21.0	To this day, I've never had a better interview.
1:23.8	I met the winery manager and we got along great.
1:26.8	At the end of the interview, the hiring manager told me I was a shoe in and that they'd be in
1:31.4	touch shortly to let me know if I got the job, followed by a very
1:34.6	reassuring wink and nod.
