I miss everyone who's watching this video right now,

listening to this podcast, and how much I miss my team

it's not the same nine months seeing only five human beings definitely wears on you let's hop into it

so for those of you that are long time founders journal listeners normally

I am recording this thing from my mom's home in New Jersey and what I call

the command center in her dining room. It is great, but today I am recording this from New York City, Brew HQ, down in the financial district. Why am I here? Well, I came into the city today to interview our head of multimedia, which is one of the positions that we're hiring for at Morning Brew, candidates for this role.

For many of the roles that we've hired for at Morning Brew over the last several months.

I haven't been able to meet many of them in person,

but given this is a very senior role at the company,

we thought it was really important

for other senior members of Morning Brew to meet candidates or

final candidates for this role in person and so that's why I'm here so we met down

on Stone Street which is down in the financial district in New York City.

It's right by Morning Brew's original office.

So our original office was in a Weewe workspace at 85 Broad Street.

Now we're in another office just a few blocks away. And not only did I get to meet candidates in person,

but I also got to meet someone on our team who I've spent the last several months, you know, spending time with talking about the business with who I haven't met in person.

Matt who works on Strategic Finance at Morning Brew, I talked to the guy almost every day, see him over video, and I had never met him in person.
