Hi, I'm calling just real quick. I have a question. So essentially I've been in family therapy.

I'm just kind of working on my marriage and also some individual therapy. It kind of come up that I think I'm still dealing with the loss of my dad during the pandemic when I lost him.

I don't think I've dealt with that properly and I'm starting to see just some things come out from the end.

You're starting to sound like somebody who has been in too much therapy.

And I'll tell you why I say that. I think I'm getting to the point of thinking that I haven't really dealt properly with something or other that happened during the whatever.

And they hold us at me. You've dealt with it.

Period. This is what dealt with it feels like.

It feels like when it comes into your mind, you get upset and have a few thoughts with it and then you get on with your day.

I think you might have been in too much therapy.

Some things don't get analyzed. They just we persevere through them. We endure.

And that's not a neurotic condition. Enduring shows great psychological strength.

We can allow those feelings and thoughts and then get on with our day. Get on with our lives.

They all don't have to go away. All those feelings and thoughts don't have to go away. It doesn't mean we haven't dealt with them.

There's a mistake in psycho-babel notion that when you deal with something really well, it's not in your head anymore.

It is. And it doesn't evoke any emotion. That's absurd.

So I guess the question that I'm struggling with is I'm not proud of some of the reactions that I'm having with my own children.
