And the UK announced that it will recognize the state of Palestine unless Israel agrees to a ceasefire by September and improves the situation in Gaza.

President Trump said the UK's move would be rewarding Hamas.

Yeah. Well, so Macron last week said France will recognize Palestine as a state, whatever that means.

There's no recognized government nor set borders, so what the hell does that mean?

Pretty major break since all of the,

all of our friends had stuck with us all these years on not recognizing Palestine as a state,

even though all the other countries in the UN have recognized Palestine as a state for decades.

But as Trump responded to Macron, it doesn't make any difference. This is going to have no effect, Trump said, which is probably two.

But directionally, it's not good.

But now, Great Britain has done it but with a qualification?

Yeah, Keir Starrmer, the UK Prime Minister, spoke with BB Netanyahu for a couple hours,

in which Netanyahu was said to have rejected

the conditions set by Starmor for a ceasefire, which included Israel ruling out future

annexation of the West Bank and a commitment toward a two-state solution with quote-unquote Palestine.
