All right, good evening, and welcome to our midweek Bible study on Thursday nights. We're going through the Bible, book by book, and chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. We're in this amazing book of Isaiah, actually almost done with this amazing book of Isaiah. So, if my math is correct, seven chapters left. We're going to do one chapter tonight. We left off

last week in chapter 58. So tonight chapter 59 and very interesting chapter that's before us tonight.

I know the Lord has a word for us tonight in this chapter. So why don't we pray? We'll just ask God to bless our time

together in His Word, if you would please join with me. Thank you so much, Lord. Lord,

please at this time, will you, by the Holy Spirit, just settle us and quiet our minds, settle our hearts and just

all the anxiety and stress and pressure and all of the things that we're dealing with in our busy lives these days,

and especially with everything that's going on in the world today.

This time on Thursday nights for us represents a true sanctuary in every sense of the word.

It's a place, a safe place, a beautiful place that we can come to and

and just put all of that aside and open up our Bibles and open up our hearts, open up our

eyes so we can see, our ears so we can hear.

Because you are going to speak in and through your word, that's not the question.

The question isn't, are you going to speak?

You're going to speak.

But the question is, are we going to hear and more importantly, take

heed to your word?

That's why we're here tonight, Lord.

We are readily admitting that we are hungry and thirsty for you and desperate for you,

really. Truth being known.

And we know that only you can satiate that need that we have in our souls for you.

So Lord, we really need for you to minister to us and speak to us and show to us what

it is that you would have us to see in this chapter that we have before us tonight.
