coaching call. I was coaching somebody who was kind of falling behind on some work that she wanted to create and

she was I think having some struggles getting organized right thinking that work should just happen

spontaneously and as creatives we should organized, right, thinking that work should just happen spontaneously.

And as creatives, we should just be able to sit down and just let it all flow and let it all come out

just on the spot wherever we are, it should be this magical spontaneous thing and I reveal to her

look I don't just sit down and you know switch the micon and episodes flow out of me

whenever I have a thought, a conversation, read a new book, get a new insight,

reach some kind of conclusion in my mind, I jot a note on my phone. I do a couple of sentences that make sense to me.

And here we have our daily podcast, right? 18 months now of not skipping a single day.

and record in episodes and I'm twiddling my thumbs thinking what's going to come up today. I have this resource that I'm

always building maybe I'm even just you know with a friend on a walk and I'm like

oh that was interesting what she said or I'm watching a TV show and I'm like

oh I like that story or I'm chatting with my husband

and we laugh about something and I'm like I want to talk about this. So I always

have almost like a bit of a backlog of ideas that I can just come back to and

share so when it's time to sit down and record like right now I'm

doing five in a row. I probably have ten more even in here but I'm in a bit of a rush today
