tonight those of you online we're glad that you're joining it with us as well I

don't know why you're still up if you're in a later time zone but you can go to

bed if you want of course I have the gift of putting people to sleep, they tell me.

I said, listen to you as I fall asleep every night.

It's like, are you sure you got the right guy?

Because, okay, hey, before we jump in, I want to let you know that well first of all I'm looking forward to

this upcoming Tuesday March 3rd 7 p.m. right here in the sanctuary for those of you

online the start time is not 7 30 like tonight on a Bible Sunday night but 7 p.m.

Hawaii standard time we will live stream our

all-church prayer meeting, at least the beginning of it, because I want to share what the

Lord has ministered and is ministering to me still, but chiefly during the five months

that I was out of the pulpit caring for my wife before her home going. And it's out of the

book of Acts, the 12th chapter, verses 1 through 17, which for those of you

who have read it or know it is, I mean, it's a fascinating, funny, can I say funny?

I just did.

I count with detailed specificity and humor. Can I say humor? I just did.

And I say that in a sanctified way because it's about how we now, like them then, can be surprised when

God answers our prayer.

Kind of like, oh.

Or not just surprised when God answers our prayer, but the way God chooses our prayer.

And we're the ones who prayed in the first place, and then we're surprised when he answers
