Who I am beyond that is of little importance.

The story is not about me.

All you need to know is that I was once a close acquaintance of a man named John Arbuckle.

Four years ago he took his cat, Garfield, up to his family's old farm and never returned.

His car, a pink sedan which he would sometimes refer to as Abigail,

was found parked in the driveway of the old farmhouse, a John and his cat, from nowhere to be seen.

At the time of his disappearance his dog Odie, who is now in my care, has been checked into a kennel a few miles from his home.

The kennel's cam footage from that day is the last known sighting of John Arbuckle.

Police opened a missing person's case due to my insistence.

But quickly closed it after evidence suggested no foul play.

Grown men with a few friends and no immediate family or on low priority lists for the police

were deciding which case to allocate resources towards.
