All right. I've been going through the archives, and I found a segment that is golden.

A really, really good segment.

We're going to go back to, let's see here, 2008.

This was Jack before kids and he went to New York, kind of on a whim, and he went to New York without a hotel room booked,

which is something I would never do.

But Jack Armstrong was going to do it.

He was going to go there, find a vacancy, and you know what?

Everything would work out.

But unfortunately for Jack, things didn't quite work out the way he expected.

There weren't any rooms available, but somebody offered to help him.

And that brings us to this very strange story from Jack Armstrong.

So let's go back to 2008.

When Jack gets a hotel room offer.

A very strange one.

I flew out to Long Island a week ago Saturday and hadn't booked a hotel.

And I don't know why I hadn't booked a hotel.

I guess I wasn't sure what day I was going yet.

And then the day came and I tried to book some hotels and I had some trouble with my computer.

And then, ah, screw it.
