The battle to return to school seems to have been won for the most part,

but now a new battle about school mask and vaccine mandates is tearing Americans apart.

I personally support the freedom for parents to choose what is safest for their children,

but I am against mandates.

That being said, it seems like this is the perfect time for a new type of compromise.

Perhaps instead of funding the public school system, we should fund the students. Parents and

teachers who don't want the mandates can choose schools that don't have them. Parents who do

can stay in the mandate heavy schools. No one has to force anyone to feel unsafe around unmasked kids or take a

vaccine they might not want. Everyone is happy. Everyone wins. There's no reason to be at each other's

throats when we have the ability to live and let live. I'm Kira Davis and I'm just saying.
