Hey guys, I need some advice.

A while back I was debating whether I should tell one of my close friends that I like him.

We've been friends for about four years, but over time I started noticing things that made me feel like he liked me too.

He went to a soccer game together he paid

for everything held my hand while we were walking kept offering me his jacket because it was

cold and rainy and just overall treated me in a very caring way after the game we went out to dinner

and he stayed over because it was late and he lived about two hours away he slept on the couch

to work just so that he could come and pick him up for me, spend time with me and bring him back

when I got off my

12-hour shift. That level of effort really stood out to me. Another moment that stuck to me was when

I was dealing with a serious health scare. He called me whilst I was crying and immediately

knew that something was wrong just from my voice. Even when I said I didn't want to talk about it, he

gently insisted. When I finally told him and sent him my scans, he tried to calm me down,

reached out to a friend of his who works in the medical field, and then stayed on the phone with

me for almost eight hours. Most of the time we just sat in silence while he played music

and tried to comfort me. Over the course of

our friendship, we've also had deep conversations about the future, our ideas of marriage, him

being a husband, me being a wife, raising kids, religion, we're both Christians and our future
