Do you know that people were queuing for Primark overnight? They were, I mean, have Primark got some deal on or something?

No, the reason is that Primark customers don't know what a face mask is

and they don't know what social distancing is.

And they went out there and also they don't do mail order.

It's not really worth it actually because it turns out the envelopes worth more than the clothes.

So it's a lot easier to actually get people to go into the shop. So they were queuing for all of them.

I've never seen anything like it. For Primark, I mean, we know it's appealing because you can get your entire summer wardrobe for £2.60 if you go for the upgrade. And all the other shop. Then there was some woman interviewed on television. I don't think she saw the irony of it. She was in Kingston, John Lewis. And the reporter, who was Alice, said, oh, so what have you actually bought? And I thought she was going to tell you something you couldn't get. She bought a mulberry handbag and two Kashmir jumpers.

I thought, well, in the middle of summer and a mulberry handbag.

She could have bought it mail order, but she didn't.

She decided to go in.

They were queuing for ages and ages.

I'm so glad I never went to Kingston yesterday.

I don't think I could actually cope with all these people with queuing.

I just want to go into a shop buy something, walk home again or whatever it is.

Much, much easier. So instead, I went to Waitrose and Marks and Spencer's was 90% empty
