Today I'm going to do something different. In fact,

starting now I will do something different. I will alternate change between two kinds of podcasts.

One kind of podcast will be my normal podcast.

I will read an article about language learning and then I will talk about it. So how

can you learn English faster? How can you learn English better? How can you improve your speaking? How can you improve your understanding? All of these

questions I will talk about and ask about and read articles about. But now also because that's a very serious topic, I think I also

want to include something more casual, something more fun and easy. So I'm also going to teach you some slang, some American slang.

So half of my podcast will be about slang,

the other half will be about language learning.

Today will be the first slang lesson.

And today we're going to learn the word down,

D-O-W-N.
