Recently, the Superior General of the Fraternal Society of St. Pius the 10th said something very, very controversial.

In an ordinary parish, he said, the faithful no longer find the means necessary to ensure their

eternal salvation. Direct and quotation. Let me repeat that.

In an ordinary parish, meaning in a typical run-of-the-mill Catholic church,

the faithful no longer find the means necessary to ensure their eternal salvation. I did not misquote.

I have not quote mind or proof texted or cherry-picked or any of the nonsense you're going to hear.

This means that the superior general of the Society of St. Pies the 10th, who I spent many of the last month defending in my own home,

to my friends. You can ask Joe Enders. When he stayed here, we were arguing over SSPX and

I was defending them. But their leader says quite flagrantly that, well, if you're an SSPX

explainer, you have to justify the reductio at absurdum that the means for salvation

can't be found at ordinary Catholic parishes.

That's what the SSPX, at least its current Superior General, believes.

And if you're one of these feeble-minded fence-sitters with regard to the SSPX,

they will affirm the excluded middle, which is something you can't do

in binary propositions. You can't affirm the excluded middle. They would say the means for salvation

sort of can and sort of cannot be found at ordinary Catholic parishes, which is stupid. It's a reductio.

And it's a little bit different because it's logically, motley unsound from the other

kind of reductio, the one outright affirmed by the Superior General of the SSPX.

So I wanted to spend an episode getting retorted with y'all.
