Summary

I was recently interviewed by Alisa Childers and I've taken that interview and broken it down into topical videos dealing with the 23 different claims made by the "progressive Christian" Ragamuffin TV. But because this is the first video in the series we will take some time to explain what this is about. I'd like to add that I know there are plenty of believers who disagree with me on this issue. 0:07.0	kind of like a progressive Christian manifesto that was written by Ragamuffin TV.
0:11.9	We deal with these claims, some good, some bad, some ugly, and I'm
0:16.1	hoping that this helps you to think biblically.
0:18.7	So recently somebody posted, it was a post from a more progressive Christian-type Facebook page, and they said,
0:26.7	oh my goodness, like how do we answer this? And it was a post that had over a dozen, well I think there's more than that even, I'm looking at it, there's like, there's like 23, 23,
0:37.0	23, like, proclamations that was made want to get my
0:43.0	made by this progressive Christian platform.
0:45.0	And I thought, the first person I thought of was,
0:48.0	I want to get Mike Winger to come talk about these things
0:51.0	because I feel like you will bring such a good sound and, you know, analytical
1:00.0	perspective to some of these things because I think honestly Mike
1:03.2	I think some of these points the average Christian would look at and be like
1:08.1	oh that's dumb I know that's not right and I know why
1:10.9	but some of them are more complicated some Some of them are trickier. They're more subtle. And so this was posted and the commentary given just before the list was made was since you have many Christians telling you the opposite, I just want to encourage you with this.
1:27.0	And then it just goes on to list this manifesto.
1:30.0	We're going to go through them one by one today.
1:33.0	Let's just get right into number one.
1:35.0	And what's really funny about number one,
1:37.0	I'll just say this, because this is going to air later.
1:39.0	So, but yesterday, Mike, you posted about this on Facebook. Yesterday, like this was all over Twitter. This is what everybody was talking
1:46.0	about because apparently some major evangelical leader cussed and so everybody was discussing it.
