We're going to begin a new series. All right, so turn to John Chapter 10. The series is called frequency tune in here God

frequency tune in here God. Now as I said on the video this is the number one question that I get asked everywhere I go.

If we have an equipping class on hearing God, it fills up immediately because all of us as believers want to know how to hear God.

So I want to make some opening comments about this to help us just think along these lines.

And one thing I want you to think about is what and I'll answer it for you

because you'll probably have the right answer but you may say it in different

words so let me answer my own question here. What makes us different from people who don't believe in Jesus?

What is the main difference between us and people who have not received Jesus as their Savior.

Well let me say it this way.

We have a personal relationship with God.

And wouldn't you think that that personal relationship would include communication?

It's amazing to me because I used to actually think this way and I'm not putting you down if you still think this way, but it's amazing to me

that people believe that God doesn't speak anymore.

That's amazing to me.

And when you think about it, you read the Bible and he's always constantly speaking to people. I mean from

Adam and Eve to Abraham, to Isaac, to Jacob, to Joseph, to Moses, to Joshua, to the children of Israel, even as a whole, to the priest,

to Isaiah, to Jeremiah, to Ezekiel, to Hosea, to Nahum, to Habakk, to Amos, and then in the New Testament to Peter to Paul to Mark John Mark to

Silas it just to Barnabas you just have records of God speaking directly to people.

And think about this, here's what the Bible says, I am the Lord, I do not change. Do we think that he just stopped talking 2,000 years ago? Do we think that he just stopped talking 2,000 years ago? Do we think that he's had laryngitis, know for 2,000 years God speaks and I was talking this

first when I talked about the difference between a believer and

unbeliever I was talking to someone and he said I'm looking for another job and I have three possibilities and he's going through the possibilities and I think when we make a decision we should make a wise decision part of that would be gathering information and knowledge

and things like that.
