So I am a high school senior and I will be graduating on Friday.

And in the beginning of this year and about November, I started dating this girl in high school with me.

I was a senior. She was in her junior year and something you should know about me is that I'm a very giving person.

So in the beginning of the relationship, I was always putting myself second and always putting her first.

Okay. You know, it's interesting that you said that something I should know about you.

Because I want to explain when somebody says that sentence to a therapist, we already have you pegged as low self-esteem.

So it sounds nice. I'm a very giving person sounds almost Christ like.

It sounds so nice. It sounds so good.

But when people announce that's who they are, they're pretty much telling a professional.

I don't have any self-esteem. So what I do is I put everybody else first.

Or at least this girl first because then she'll like me and won't leave me.

And I'll be safe and connected.

It's generally not a healthy thing to sacrifice yourself like that, especially at your age.

Yeah, and I could really understand that now.

And I wish I would have put myself more first and spoken up a little bit when something was bothering me or whatnot, but I didn't do that.

Last year there was a girl I was like madly in love with and I did everything for her.
