All right. We're in a series called Frequency, Tune In Here God. I want you to turn to two passages of scripture, John 15 and Genesis 18. And we'll actually start in John 15. We'll go back to

Genesis 18 then we'll come back to around John 15. But if you just if you can only turn to one, turn to Genesis 18, because it's a longer passage and I want you to see that.

Also, I want to encourage you to get the book, not because I'm trying to sell books because we always do it at

a discount for Gateway Church it releases nationally this Tuesday but I'd love

you to be able to read the book while we're doing the series and to allow God to speak this truth in your life.

This could be one of the greatest truths that you ever learn and that's how to hear the voice of God.

So we're in this called Frequency Tune In Hear God and this week the title of the message is

I'm a friend. I'm a friend. If you remember last

week it was I'm a sheep. So in just seven short days you've gone from being a

sheep to now being a friend.

So turn to someone beside you and say, I'm a friend.

Now say to that person, say, but you still smell like a sheep. Okay? All right. So let me give you, let me let me give you something to think about when we talk about this. Let me give you an illustration of two

types of a friend and you see which type you would prefer. Let's say that you're in the hospital

and you and I are friends and so you ask me to come by and visit you and I come to the front

desk and I drop off some of the books that I've written and I say would you deliver them to this

room but I never see you never talk to you never set at your bedside and yet we've been

friends for 20 years but but I never actually, I just drop off some books that I've written for you.

Or I show up at the hospital every morning before I go to work, set with you for an hour or so and talk, come in the text you a few times during the day,

come in the evening, set with you again, sneak in some fast food.
