As I explained on the programme this morning, unfortunately, I didn't make it to the Lady Rattlings do yesterday.

I wasn't at all well, actually. I was having a particularly bad day.

I was fine in the morning, And then at the time I got

home, I'd gone completely down the pan, I'm afraid. So I was not at all up to it. So I had to cancel.

And so I texted Barbara and Scott and said, I'm really sorry, but I'm just not at all well. I'm

just not up to anything at all. And the more I thought about it, the more real it made me. And he said, I'm really sorry, but I'm just not at all. Well, I'm just not up to anything at all.

And the more I thought about it, the more real it made me. And he said, well, actually, she's not very well either. But she did go. She had a, she's got a cold at the moment. So I hope it all went well yesterday for the ladies. I'm sure you all had a lovely, lovely time, as I say, do please invite me again.

I'm just so sorry that I'm sort of going through this sort of strange phase at the moment.

Anyway, sort of back to normal, sort of back normal kind of, sort of today. I was at all sorts of stories I was reading as I came in in the car. I mean, all sorts of things like who was the worst dressed at the BAFTAs? Laura Whitmore.

Apparently, not a clue.

What she was doing there, I've got no ideas.

Are people in the business, dear?

It's not for you.

Mind you, there were all sorts of other people there who also weren't in the business either,

but they all sort of turn up.

I'll run through the winners in a moment.

I'm assuming it, was it hosted by Sue Perkins? She was hosting. Oh, well, sure there must be other people around,

but she seems to be the best they've got at the moment. I mean, who else is there? There's either Stephen Frye or there's Graham Norton. I mean, who else? I mean, oh, she did it because Grant Norton's away, so it wasn't even first choice. It's embarrassing, isn't it? It's very embarrassing. Also, I did reveal to you the other day that Cheryl is going to be planning a pop cumber. I don't know why you're bothering, love. I really don't know why you bother it. I'm not being rude. I'm just saying, if you couldn't even answer the simple question, are you pregnant? You know, what's the point of launching a pop career? You're quite clearly, You're living in a bloody dream world. You're not living in the real world with the rest of us, because, you know, the real world is, you know, that's the Mrs. Merton line when she said to Chris, you back, come on, Chris,

it's a chat show. I ask questions and you answer them. Of course, in Cheryl's case, are you

pregnant? Are you pregnant? She couldn't answer that. So why should we even bother wasting our time with sort of a dreary pop comeback? I mean, she never even had a, the last time. I think she got really low in the charts. It was something like 56 or something. Whatever it was, it was ridiculous. Then somebody wrote criticising me the other day, as imagine on this programme. Somebody criticising me. Not on this one, it was on the other programme.
