I'LL BE GONE IN THE DARK, based on the book of the same name by Michelle McNamara, explores her investigation into the dark world of this violent predator she dubbed "The Golden State Killer."

The series, directed by Academy Award nominee and Emmy-winning director Liz Garbus, is a detective story told in McNamara’s own words, through exclusive original recordings and excerpts from her book. It is also a posthumous reflection into the soul of McNamara, whose True Crime Diaries blog and years of relentless determination for justice for the victims helped keep the case alive and in the public eye.

1:09.4	is a brilliant writer, and she wrote the book basically documenting her civilian investigation into one of the most violent criminals America scene.
1:19.0	She ended up dubbing him the Golden State Killer. You may know her as well, her husband is Patton
1:24.4	Oswald, the comedian, and it basically just covers and documents her obsession with trying to find the man who terrorized California between the 1970s and 1980s.
