There is a house where the veil between this world and the next is thin.

It is a home where things really do go bump in the night.

It is a place where demons dwell and a roof under which nightmares are real.

My belief is that there was something dark there,

that there was definitely something going on in that house that was very paranormal.

I just remember this overwhelming sense that, like, somebody was watching me. I've now seen it with my own eyes.

I've, you know, been scared to death to be in a house by myself.

The only way I can explain it is that it was a demon.

That's just what it felt like.

That's what it looked like to me.

I lived in that house.

I was still haunted.

Despite leaving the house, despite what the man had told us at the historical society, I was still being haunted.

But this haunting wasn't the paranormal kind. No, it was the nagging kind. Why me? Why my roommates? Why that house? Why? These sorts of unanswerable questions began to consume my thoughts.

I wanted to confirm the story of the doctor, who was thought to have murdered his wife,

the one Amber and I had been told about at the Historical Society in Kent. I googled endlessly, researching old newspapers and articles, but I couldn't find anything.
