Hello my friends, it's Sally Clarkson and I am here in St Andrews, Scotland in one

of my very favorite places in the world, sitting next to one of my very favorite people in

the world. Hello Joy. Hello everybody, and it's lovely to be with you. Joy Clarkson,

for those of you who are new to my podcast is my fourth child, second daughter and we are

just kindred spirits and have so much fun together. We are indeed. We have a lot of fun up here

in Scotland. Oh my goodness. But I wanted to talk today and we're going to be talking

about Scotland and people and everything but we're going to be talking a little bit today

about weathering the storms of life and about boldly building your godly legacy. Because

I think that as I look back in my life, I realize that I wasn't prepared. I wasn't prepared

for the ups and downs for the storms with children, with marriage, with finances, with

the people who call themselves believers with illness, with car wrecks, with whatever. And

I recently written a book that I'm going to be telling you more about in the weeks to

come called Help. I'm drowning in weathering the storms of life with grace and hope. Because

I think if I'd been more prepared for the storms of life, for the difficulties to understand

that this is not a generated world, we are battling to stand strong in our faith, to stand

against the tides of difficulty. And so I wrote this book thinking about my time during

COVID but also thinking about my whole life that maybe I could help and come along beside
