I apologize for leaving you hanging last week. At the very end of last week's episode,

I had found out what was going on at the Capitol with the attempted coup and what ended up

doing is hopping off the episode, not editing it and uploading it that day, even though

it's always an interesting thing of not knowing what content to publish when there's so much

going on in the world and I feel like people use being in escape or distraction as a cop

out. But I also acknowledge that I think they're needed. And this is kind of something I

want to explore this week. But part of, you know, where I see my role and where I see

influencers role is that if I am not in a position or the timing doesn't work for me to

adequately respond to something, at the very least I want to react and witness and acknowledge

it with you. But I didn't mean to leave you hanging. My husband's fine. It was just

a weird coincidence that I knew he happened to have a meeting in DC proper that day. But

he got out of the city by curfew and made it home eventually and all was fine. I didn't

I really feel badly that that was like so abruptly ended. And I didn't know a lot of information

as I cut the episode off because obviously it wasn't going to keep blabbing about Pinterest

when there were insurrectionists trying to overtake our Capitol and interfere with the

democratic process of counting electoral votes. I mean, I know very things have happened

at the Capitol, but like as far as I understand the last formal attempt to overtake the Capitol

was the war of 1812 guys like I mean to go start right out the gate here, but like that

was terrifying that a people are not over reacting. People showed up to our nation's

Capitol with guns with spears with zip ties with explosives breaking glass bringing a

noose to the goddamn Capitol. People smeared their own feces. I mean, the list goes on.
