Hello, this is going to be quite a long story.

At the end of 2023, I found myself homeless.

I've got something called multiple sclerosis, but that's besides the point.

That's how I ended up spending a full 17 months homeless until March of 2025. Oh my gosh. By the way, this comes from extra cheesy broccoli. And we're here to give good advice goofily, but we don't have all the answers. we just know what we would do in the situation. So, Opie says, I now find myself in northern Ontario. I think I'm closer to the North Pole that I am to the U.S. border. I'm living in a somewhat off-grid homesteading type community. And yes, with my medical issues, I know it's probably more difficult for me than it is for most people, but I'm happy. I've got my dog, a small camper I live in, and I'm somewhat making it work. That being said, there's a person who's the focus of this story, and I'm going to call him Jason. Jason has a wife, but she's not really relevant to the story. Jason moved up here in May, and from what I

saw, he made a mistake. He shouldn't be up here. I know that's saying a lot, but he really shouldn't.

He came up with absolutely nothing, not even a plan, and he's on ODSP, Ontario Disability Support

Program. Now, that's saying a lot. That's 1,5055 a month and I survive on $300, sometimes less oh my god

but he came totally unprepared he was lucky that he got here in the spring mid-May to say

the least he's got no outdoor experience and no building experience I know I've got my

medical issues but his make him quite frail.

In fact, his wife is also very, very frail. When I first met Jason, I was on my way to visit a friend
