encore lift from Christian science practitioner Bobby Lewis from Buena Vista, Colorado.

I was wanting to go out for a run a little while ago. I was traveling. I loved to run,

but it had been difficult for a while, actually for some years in terms of an injury.

But I thought, oh, I've got a little time before this flight. I want to go for a run.

So I walked out of the hotel and walked down to the bike path, and then I was just about ready to start running.

I was being prayerful as I was walking over there.

And I thought, what governs me right now?

And I was going to answer that question.

I mean, it was kind of a rhetorical question in prayer.

I was going to answer you to God.

Father, Mother God, you govern me.

Before I could answer that, I asked him prayer what governs me right now.

And what came immediately was, I do. I do.

That, uh, it kind of startled me in the moment, even though it was the answer that I was looking for,

but what I realized in that moment,

that what I was often doing in prayer

was affirming truths that I loved about God and myself,

but not so much yielding to God or making room for what God was directly expressing to me about

what God wanted me to know about what God is and about what I am where the situation was,

and that run, I had a lot of runs in my life, that run just has stayed with me over these

last couple of years so much because I ran for
