Being intentional in your marriage requires more than just doing the right thing.

It's also about communicating and being honest and establishing some real heart to heart

connection with your spouse.

I'm John Fuller joined by my focus colleagues, Greg and Aaron Smolley, and we're going

to return now to a discussion with Bill and Pam Farrell, who have a concept that they

call the Marriage Meetup, and they've written about that, we'll have more information

about their books about that concept in a few minutes.

First though, here's focus president Jim Daly discussing how a weekly meeting can really

benefit your marriage.

Probably all of the hot topics and marriages would apply to, but just listening to your

ability to understand each other is critical, because you could be the person or your spouse

is the person that doesn't understand.

You're conveying that I wanted to help Bill and Bill saying the same of you.

What about that relationship where they haven't matured to that level yet?

It's still about me, and it's about my fund fund, and I'm negotiating way up, and if you

don't like it, we're going to have a problem.

Right.
