What's up guys? Welcome back to the pod. Happy Friday. How is everybody doing? I know that my heart has been

really heavy with everything that is going on in our country right now. And that's not what this

episode is about, but I would be remiss not to mention how devastated I am that this is the level of cruelty that we have

reached. It's not even, I mean, I don't really care what your politics are. There's just a level

of basic human empathy. And I feel really sad. I feel really sad for the way that people are being treated, the way that people are being

ripped away from their families, the way that the immigration issue is being approached

with just such incredible cruelty.

It's just cruel.

It's just cruel.

Like when I look at America now, I don't,

it's not the America that I knew and once was proud of. And it's fucking heavy, man. It's

fucking heavy. I mean, you know, it's, if you're feeling depressed, it's normal because it's

this images coming out of Los Angeles this week are just, it's normal because it's this images coming out of Los Angeles

this week are just, it's hard to process. It's just like, I guess my question is like,

is there a path back from this level of cruelty? Once a country has shown its own people,

like this is the level of cruelty like i read something

about a nine-year-old boy they ripped him away from his family what the fuck would a not

why are you taking a nine-year-old away from his parents it's sick it's really upsetting. It's really, really disturbing. But I'm not going to

talk about that today, but I just wanted to have a moment as a community to just acknowledge it.

No easy transition from that. I am going to do an article review today that's also

pretty heavy topic. And I wanted to highlight this article because it actually changed my mind

on a topic. And you know that I believe strong opinions loosely held. And you know that I believe
