Today's episode is about Mormon Youth Summer Camp.

And it feels very timely as we are coming up on summer

to finally be talking about this highly requested topic which is E F Y. F Y stands for especially

for youth and it's the Mormon way of doing a youth summer camp.

We're going to be talking all about it.

I will briefly explain what E FY is.

I went to EFI myself, so I want to tell you a little bit about that. And then we will hop into all of your crazy

story submissions about E. F. Y. I actually spent this morning. I was out and about running errands and I was trying to find

the E.F. Y. Y. theme song every year at E. F. Y. I was under the impression there was a new

album every year for E FY. I don't know if that's the case. I do know that my year at E FY back when I went in 2009. I just figured that out because I was also looking on Facebook to see my own E FY photos which I will share with you and I went way back in 2009 which is kind of crazy to think about

but there's always a theme song for that summer and there's

usually an album. So there's like a handful of songs and anyway I was wanting to

get into the right head space for the E FY episode so I was listening through

some of the past E FY songs and theme songs and I got to tell you I didn't hate it as much as I thought I would. I did not

hate listening to the E. F. Y. Y. is the closest Mormonism gets to the more evangelical brand of Christianity.
