Hello and welcome back to the what we said podcast bonus episode advice column.

You know the drill. Yeah. We actually both have life updates this time. You know, usually we come

and we're like just grasping for something to talk about because we don't do anything with our

lives, but we both have been gone actually because you haven't talked about your trip to there

because we recorded the last couple episodes weeks ago because both of us were going to be out of

town. So I went to Newport last week with Nick has like a group of friends from high school actually

from before high school that he's known since forever and they're really tight knit group.

And now all of them are married and like most of them have kids. And so we went we usually go

once a year in June to Newport and just like stay at a beach house and it's so fun. It's like

I don't know just the beach and we Newport is such a fun place to I feel like people from Arizona

love Newport. Yeah, it's very nostalgic like whenever we talk about Orange County and Newport.

Beth says like, Oh, I have never grown because she grew up here and she's like, I've never really grown

up going to Orange County that much or like loving Newport, but I feel like when you're I don't know

a lot of people that I know from Arizona, it's like that's where you go during the summer a lot of times

or San Diego or wherever just because it's not too far of a drive. And so it's one of my favorite beach

towns because from the beach you have so many food options that you can walk to from the beach. And

that's not the case with a lot of beaches I feel like around here. Yeah, it's true. You have to drive

if you want to go get food. So it's a fun place to stay because we just rent bikes and ride around.

Anyways, it was a lot of fun and that was my life update. It was good to kind of get out and see

bunch of friends and yeah, experience normal life. Yeah, normal life is on the horizon. It's

sleeping back in. Yes. And it feels so so good like especially in California. So when we were just
