Welcome back, friends. It's I, Positive Sean, here with another Friday edition of the One

More Thing podcast. Jack and Joe against all indicators to the contrary are still allowing me to do this,

and I thank them for it.

We'll just have a little fun here tonight or today whenever you might be listening with a

little Oscar prediction.

Oscars are coming back.

The 92nd Academy Awards are this Sunday.

Now, I will be doing the traditional who should win and who will win

essentially just as a cheap way to double my chances of being able to claim that I was correct.

You know, just a little hedge on that. We'll be going over. Let's see, we don't need to do

documentary stuff. How many of these categories should we do? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. We'll do eight categories. We'll do the eight biggest

ones. Your six main ones. And then I like doing the screenplays, original and adapted.

Because a lot of good movies get recognized in those. Now, you know, the usual caveats of

side of awards for art are stupid. They don't mean as much as I would like them to mean.

In my perfect vision, I have, you know, Oscars and, you know, in a similar way,

sports all-star teams.

I'd like those to be an accurate representation of the snapshot of the year in cinema or sport

or whatever.

Then they usually don't end up being that.
