And I came with a word of my heart all the way from New York City, and I'm so excited to share with you today.

So I want to start off by reading to you two portions of scripture, two portions of scripture.

The first is found in the book of Mark.

It's the 15th chapter, starting at the 16th verse,

reading from the message translation.

It says this. It dressed him, Jesus, up in a purple cape and put on a crown plaited from a thorn bush on his head.

Then they began their mockery. They said,

Bravo, King of the Jews. They banged on his head with a club, spit on him, and knelt down in mock worship. After they had had

their fun, man that that verse hurts me every time I read it after they had had

their fun we're talking about our Jesus

out our Savior after they had had their fun. They took off the purple cape, put his

own clothes back on him, then they marched out to nail him to the cross.

There was a man walking by coming from work.

Simon from Sirene, the father of Alexander and Rufus.

They made him carry Jesus's cross. The soldiers brought Jesus

to Gagatha meaning Skullkiller wine mixed with Mer, but he wouldn't take it.

And they nailed him to the cross.

They divided up his clothes and through dice to see who would get them.

Skipping on over to the book of Colossians.

It says this and I thank God for this verse.

It says he forgave us all our sins.
