It was so odd that we had Jeff Passan on on Wednesday morning. It was lovely. Yeah. And then he was on PTI that same day. I had no idea. Oh, really? I had no idea he was going to be on PTI. I said, why didn't you tell me? He said, well, I assumed you knew. I didn't know. Very odd. It's very hot, or has been very hot in Washington, D.C. My house, the temperature in my house was like 80. And I finally said to Carol, could you turn the air conditioning on? Just a little. Die in here. So last night she turned the air conditioning on. So it's better now. It was over 80 degrees in the house. It's been, we went from kind of a cool spring to winter to summer.

Summer, 90 plus. No spring. Yeah. No spring whatsoever. I snuck out yesterday. I played 14 holes of golf in the morning before I had to go to work and I was very happy to do that. Michael today is not with us. Michael's in a golf tournament himself. That is, the rule on this show is if you're going to

play golf, you don't have to do the show. It's okay. You know, that you don't even have to ask. It's okay. It's all right. I missed the gnats yesterday. It's an afternoon game. I didn't know. I sort of thought it was at night. I should have realized it was a Thursday. It's a getaway day. You travel, you play early in the day, especially early in the season.

They won.

I had no idea. Extra innings. I had no idea. But I did watch later. I picked up live because I was watching the MLB network. The kid from Cleveland was throwing a no-hitter into the night. Into the night against the Orioles. And then there was a ground ball single and then a solid single and the manager came out and took him out, which is the right thing to do.

Then a reliever came in and immediately allowed two runs.

And I thought, and then they had base, they had people on the basis.

They had the tying run, I think, on the basis, the winning run at the plate.

And I just thought, wow, won't this be terrible for this kid if this is what happens

...
