Welcome back to Small Ball with Kenny Beach, and we are here after our like month long hiatus. And boy, I cannot be more excited for today's episode. About a week ago, I hit Greg up. And I said, it's time, baby. It's time to get back in the studio. It's time to talk some NBA. I have been missing this. So I'm happy to be back. If you are unaware of why we left, there's a few

different reasons, right? The NBA season was over, summer league was over, the draft was over,

the offseason was officially starting. And I always want to take some time after a season to

reflect. And I also recognize that I had another show to host. How can I put together three

NBA shows a week when there's nothing going on in NBA?

At least the other show numbers on the board, there's four different minds working it.

And let's be honest, if you watch those episodes recently, it's like 10% NBA.

It's just friends taking out.

I don't get that luxury here.

It's usually a one-man show.

So took that step back to kind of reflect on the season

and figure out how we can get better for the upcoming season. But also, when we took a step

back, my wife was eight months pregnant. And yeah, we have a new baby girl, man. Shout out to

Amaya Jade Beacham. I'm putting together a nice little team of, I don't know yet. We don't know.

I mean, my oldest, she loves basketball, but she also loves Pokemon and she loves theater. We'll figure out which route she goes down. Will she be the best trainer? Would she be in the WMBA doing what Paige Beckers just did a couple days ago? Or would she be on Broadway? It's one of the three. And then obviously the youngest is too young to do

anything other than spit up on my nice shirt. So shout out to my kids, man. It's been, you know,

great because there's nothing more important to me in life that being a great dad and being a great

husband to my wife that went through 11 hours of labor without an epidura, without any medication, just thugging it out.

It's very few times in my life where I've been afraid.

That was one of them times, man.

But she piled through, she's healthy, baby's healthy.

And that's all that really matters.
