Hello, Nicky and Nick.

My story isn't too scary, but interesting and peaceful.

This really did happen and is about my friend who I will call Kay.

A quick background to our friendship, her dad and my dad were friends in high

school. They would migrate with their families to Washington State every summer to work. They

lost contact after my parents married. Coming to my childhood, I end up meeting their daughter

Kay in church school. We became close and usually talked on the daily. As we got older, we went

through high school together and she would show up to my football, basketball, and even choir events.

We had our respective relationships during our high school years,

me with my sweetheart and Kay with hers. Once we graduated her here, once we graduated, her then boyfriend enlisted. During that time we became distant due to my sweetheart being jealous and having

trust issues which I cave to and distanced myself away from my friend to the point that I

would avoid Kaye even if her and her family were in front of me.

Very childish and disrespectful, I may add.

Eventually, her boyfriend came back after training and they married and moved to California.

A little after my sweetheart and me broke up.

Roughly a year later, we get an invitation from her family to her sister's Gintinera.

Of course, I want to go see her after a good while of not talking.

We catch up and I talk about me moving to Washington State in a couple of months.

I would migrate with my grandparents in the summers during high school to work and make some money.

That's when she tells me her surprising news of her being pregnant.
