You have a winning lottery ticket right there in your hand.

You can check again if you'd like, but it's a winner.

You see, $800 million.

There are two questions you need to answer,

which are going to determine the trajectory of the rest of your life.

The first is immediate.

Do you split it with your buddies?

They all chipped in.

You have an agreement.

You pooled your resources to buy a lottery ticket,

but it's a verbal agreement.

All in cash.

No paper trail. If you want to, you can just take off. A lot of people do.

One lady, a few years back, she won the lottery and immediately filed for divorce, didn't report it during proceedings.

Of course, when the very surprised husband later discovered she had won the

lotto and didn't mention it during the divorce, he brought her to court where the judge ruled

that she had committed fraud by failing to disclose those winnings, and the jilted husband got

every cent. He said, and I quote, if it wasn't for the lotto, Denise and I would probably still be together.

Things work out for the best. You'll do the right thing, though. I know you will. Which brings us to

the larger question. When you cash in that winning ticket, you're going to say, you're even going to

think what everybody does when the lights flash, you're even going to think what everybody does when the lights flash,

you're not going to do anything extravagant, no crazy spending.
