0:14.0 | Oh, thank you, Dr. Laura, for taking my call. I'm calling with not a serious problem, but with something that I would love to hear your take on. |
0:24.0 | And it's just about a dream, it's a recurring dream that I have. I've never had a recurring dream except for this one in my entire life. |
0:32.0 | And it involves my former husband who I was not married to at the time he became a diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. But I took care of him. It threw out that illness until... |

0:56.0 | Sure, he was my husband, but we were divorced. But we were made as very dear friends. When he became diagnosed, I took care of him. I loved him dearly. It was like a no-brainer for me to take care of him until he passed away. And we have a son. My only son. |
1:16.0 | Why were you divorced? We were divorced because he became... well, he became very ill with PTSD. He was a Vietnam veteran. And he... we divorced because he completely fell apart, disintegrated. He could not... he could not function. And I was not able to take care of him. My son, pay for all bills. He had run up a lot of debt. It was an impossible, moving situation. |
1:42.0 | What condition? Where was he placed when you left? He was hospitalized at the VA for treatment. So time went on. We did stay very good friends the whole time. |
2:10.0 | Okay, Cindy. Cindy. I see a pattern. He became terribly ill and you brought him back into your life. He died and you bring him back into your dream. |
2:34.0 | I guess you did love him a lot. Well, that's why you re-entertain him and your dreams. |
2:46.0 | Okay. Do you want to hear the pattern of the dream? |
2:58.0 | What makes you think? What is it? What more is it you want to know? |
3:06.0 | I guess that's it. If that's how you see it, it makes sense to me. It's your pattern with him. |
3:16.0 | Yes. Yes. I would bring him back to life if I could. I mean, that's the way I take care of him. |
3:25.0 | Exactly. Exactly. |
3:29.0 | Exactly. Oh, gosh. Thank you. Thank you. |
3:33.0 | So love definitely does not die. You know, I love for him and I've given his love for me to possibly. |
