She let go of her boyfriend's hand and looked at me briefly.

We were standing in the second floor hallway of the cabin we'd rented.

On one side, there was a rustic style railing overlooking the living

room below. On the other two two bedroom doors and a bathroom door lined the wall.

I nodded and turned toward Bobby's room, letting Gianna pass first. She walked inside on the balls of her feet. Oscar and I followed

suit.

Bobby was still passed out on the bed, fully clothed, and lying on top of the covers.

Oscar and Gianna moved to the side of the bed closest to the door.

Oscar positioned himself near the head of the bed with a side table and a leather chair

behind him.

I tracked around to the other side of the bed, being careful not to trip over

Bobby's luggage. Since Bobby was on the other side of the king bed for me, it meant I would have to jump onto the bed if I needed to hold him down.

So I simply stood between the bed and the wall, waiting to see what happened.

Gianna reached slowly toward Bobby's right front pocket to start her search.

She felt the pocket from the outside, gently searching with her fingers.

She took her hand away and nodded at us.
