Summary

It can be a hard thing to admit to yourself, let alone your partner, that you are not feeling the desire for them. This can feel like a very significant, lonely, and discouraging place to be. It can even bring up a feeling of doubt about the relationship as you might think this is a feeling you cannot come back from. Because, what is there to really do as this is just what you feel right?

In this episode you will hear the two central causes for this feeling as well as what to do depending on the category you find yourself in. Just by seeing these causes as something that all couples will face at some point in their relationship, you will feel a sense of ease and encouragement that you can move back to a state of connection, desire, passion, and sexual attraction.

And today, this episode is all about, I don't feel desire from my partner

0:23.5

these days. What does this mean? And Jocelyn, a topic that has been coming up. But where specifically

0:30.0

do we get this? As always, we get it from our own life and relationship reflections as well as

0:36.6

conversations. You know, one of the things we're

0:38.4

really grateful about being able to do private work with couples is we get that kind of behind the

0:43.0

scenes, behind closed doors, insight into what couples deal with, but they don't post on social

0:48.3

media and tell their friends that is coming up for them. And so this definitely is something we hear

0:53.2

from couples often. And it was also an

0:55.7

honest conversation we had with each other over the weekend. We are with one of our soul sisters and we

were having just what is called a cacao circle and you're connecting. Cacao is a whole other

1:06.3

conversation, but it's a connecting drink and you're just connecting and sharing your heart. And

1:10.3

we were actually talking about this season that we're in in our relationship

1:14.5

and some things that we're going to cover, like the energy dynamic that we were feeling.

1:20.0

And it was impacting my desire for you, specifically, you, Aaron.

1:25.7

And we had a very honest conversation about it. And we wanted to

1:30.2

share some insights from that and what we also share with couples. Yeah. Well, as you were saying

1:36.3

that, I was wondering, as an audience member, dang, is what they're saying is that they've been
