Summary

Tonight’s guest, Darrell Adams, moved to Oregon in 2011, after retiring from his union construction job. Darrell wasn’t interested in Sasquatch, but his brother has been fascinated with them for a long time. After finding out that Darrell had moved to Oregon, his brother asked him to keep an eye out for evidence of Sasquatch activity. After his brother let him know what to look for, he found a lot of evidence that Sasquatch actually were in the areas he was hunting in. Until he started finding evidence that they were in the area, Darrell didn’t even believe in their existence. After finding all of the evidence he started to find, however, he had a paradigm shift. At that point, he became a believer. It wasn’t long after that that he became a knower, though. He had his first sighting. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to Darrell explain his progression from doubter to believer to skeptic. It’s been quite the journey for him.

0:16.3	I grew up in California, born and raised there.
0:20.7	When I retired from construction, union construction work, and I was also a contractor,
0:27.6	I moved to Oregon in 2011.
0:33.6	I moved up there. My wife actually got a really good job up there,
0:40.5	so we wanted to move up there and get out of the rat race of California.
0:44.6	And I go hunting and fishing,
0:47.7	and I just wanted to do all that,
0:50.3	you know, retire and go hunting and fishing and be out in the woods.
0:53.0	So we moved to Oregon,
0:58.2	and my wife went to work, and I went hunting and fishing pretty much.
1:07.3	And my brother, who actually lives in Oklahoma, when we were kids growing up in California, we were in the scouts, boy scouts, Cub Scouts. We went all the way through them.
1:18.7	And when I don't know, I was probably about eight, and my brother's five years older than me, so he was 12 or 13.
1:22.4	My mom would get readers digest books.
1:26.4	And so we'd thumb through him.
1:29.2	I would, my brother was older, so he would actually read stories.
1:34.2	And my brother, we always watch scary movies on Saturday night and stuff.
1:36.0	So we were into that kind of stuff.
1:41.9	So my brother found an article in there about, it was from Roger Patterson.
1:49.0	It was about the Patterson Gimlin thing, you know, Patty, I guess, that they'd found the Bigfoot.
1:53.8	So my brother, and, you know, we were kids that were always camping and stuff.
