I am journalist and editor Treval Anderson and I am aspiring travel journalist who has all his shots and men in every city except the one I'm and Jared Hill coming up on the show today. We are talking about rest. Wow. It's becoming a big now. Okay. Well, you know, I got to keep you on your toes. We're talking about.

Rest our relationship with it or our lack of one to be quite honest and all that. But first, we're going to pass the popcorn. I am really excited about this. If you all have seen Fboy Island, we're going to be talking about that. I will alert you before we have spoilers, but you might want to just jump ahead to the to the fan tie or the commercial breaks because I know you guys enjoy those as well. But that is what we're going to be talking about. If you haven't seen Fboy Island, it is a

creation of HBO Max and Nikki Glazer, a comedian that you all might be familiar with. I have a lot of mixed feelings about Fboy Island. All of these shows really tend to irritate me and piss me off because they're terrible, but I also can't stop watching it anyway. I watch every episode and I and I tend to bench them. Right. So Fboy Island, the premise of the show, we are all familiar with the quintessential Fluck Boy. I don't fully understand why they're not using the word Fboy, why they're not using the word Fluck Boy, but using the word F

Boy, it's annoying, it's frustrating, and it pisses me off. But anyway, the concept, we've seen all of these dating shows that happen on some mysterious island that, you know, no one has ever seen before. 24 men are there to court three different women. Each of the women gets to pick the men that they're interested in and, you know, sort of quote unquote date them. And as we go through this process on the show, we, they start to eliminate the different guys. But of the 24 men,

I think it's 24 men, half of them are self identified Fluck boys and half of them are self identified nice guys. We are told that you're gonna win $100,000 at the end, but we're not told how you win the $100,000 at the end. Anyhow, you go through the whole process each week. There's eliminations. Halfway through, they tell you who it, well, this is a spoiler. Halfway through, they tell you who is a Fluck Boy and who is a nice guy of the people that are left at the end.

At the end of the show, though, baby, this final episode, they finally tell you how you win the $100,000, right? And so the women have their final two men and each of them has somehow ended up with one nice guy and one Fluck Boy. I'm saying Fluck Boy, they never say it on the show. Again, deal with it.

The first girl, she chooses her nice guy, right? They, you know, they get the $100,000, we're told and they get to split it because they're continuing the relationship. But the stipulation is if you choose the nice guy, you get the $100,000, the woman, is there a $100,000 per woman, so like there's $300,000 up for potential grabs. And if they choose the nice guy, them and the nice guy, split the $100,000.

And if they choose the Fluck Boy, the power moves to the Fluck Boy himself, he gets to decide if he wants to continue the relationship or not. And if he does continue the relationship, they obviously split the money. If they break up, he gets to take the $100,000 in run.

Right? Because he is a Fluck Boy, right? Right. And so the second, the second girl, her name is Sarah, she has no personality and no redeeming qualities. I don't understand how she even made it on the show.

The idea that she beat out other people to get this gig is really hard for me to believe. Love you, Sarah. So anyway, Sarah has a Fluck Boy and a nice guy. The nice guy is a black guy named Josh. Josh is all of the things, right? He's really handsome. He's really into this white woman.

He's like a little bit older than her. He's treated her really kindly. All of the things. The other one is Garrett. Now Garrett has given her every red flag imaginable, right?

We have been told that he's a Fluck Boy because it was revealed. We have been told that he has a girlfriend back at home because it was revealed. We've met the girlfriend that was back at home and had a face time call with her. Let me guess. Listen, you know where this is going. She chooses the Fluck Boy. Of course she does because again, Sarah has no personality and no redeeming qualities.

Sarah, let's go with the great black dude. Goes with the rich, rude, disrespectful, full of himself, Fluck Boy because he was really doing the work and I'm just really excited about the possibilities of us together. So she picks him. I care. Then they say to Garrett. Well, Garrett. Now the power moves over to you. Do you want to continue the relationship with Sarah and split the money or do you want to take the money and run? What does Garrett do?

Obviously. Uh-huh. He absolutely does. Take a listen. Usually being an F boy is a sprint. This has been a marathon. I cannot wait to get out of here with $100,000. No strings attached to anyone.

So he does that. He takes the money and everyone is geek act, right? Gagged. Everyone's like so taken aback that he did this because he's been playing into like, I love you so much. You're going to be so great. I think you're going to be so awesome. He says, this is a game. I was here to play the game and I did that and Sarah's devastated. Right. They move on finished the third girl. But then they come back. Nikki says the following.

FYI, for those of you that are concerned about the spoiler, swish has put a time coat alert into the notes. I'm going to give you a bit of a moment to either pause it or to look into the notes so you can skip ahead to that time because I don't want to ruin the show for you if you're watching it or planning on watching it because I'm about to do that just FYI.

You decided to keep the $100,000 that you were rewarded for being an FYI who was chosen. Our hope was that you would reform your FYI ways, but you didn't.

You're leaving here the same person you came in as. I don't really believe FYI should be rewarded in the end at all. Right.

So with that in mind, $100,000, you've chosen to keep for yourself.

It's instead going to a charity of Sarah's choosing.

This moment is one of my favorite moments in reality television history because what you cannot see is Garrett's face is like stone, right?

Like he does not move. He's like, he's like the guy who's in court that you know is guilty, but gets the guilty verdict, but can't show it on his face.
