Morning everybody, welcome along. It's Wednesday, 2nd of May. I don't think we do pinch

in a punch for the first day of the month on the 2nd of May or white rabbits or don't walk under ladders.

We just go, it's the 2nd of May. And what was that song? Was it the Bee Gees? Was it the first of May? When I was small and Christmas trees were tall. Do do do do do. Do it's a really lovely little song that the Beegis did. Anyway, all of that to one side over on Channel 5. God, it's kicked off big time. Oh, it've got no idea. I've known Matthew Wright for a long, long time. You used to have a show on LBC. He could be a bit prickly, but there again, name me somebody in the business who isn't a little bit prickly. Everybody, you know, if you want something to be right, you can be a bit difficult. But apparently he'd had, um, uh, rouse with, you know, producers and things like that.

Then they had the Ian Lee thing where Ian Lee objected to a perfectly ordinary question about his marriage.

And then we had all this tantrum going on.

And so he's quit.

And he said there's a big, big announcement.

But I don't know what the big announcement is.

Because I thought maybe he's coming to LBC.

I don't know why I thought that, because he's been with LBC before, but, you know, one of those sort of things, isn't it? Um, uh, he, he says it's the

best thing he's ever done. Now, I don't know how bad tension got down there, but there also

rouse over transgender comments and all sorts. I mean, it's very easy. You know, I work in radio, let me tell you, as a live radio presenter, very easy to say something off the cuff which gets misinterpreted or failing that somebody doesn't like it or people complain about it.

You know, everybody's thinking, yeah, yeah, brigade nowadays.

People complain about things like that.

So the production company changed.

It used to be Princess Productions, I thought, and apparently

it's been tensions with the new people. It's awful, really, isn't it? Because he's been doing it for

nearly 18 years, child, as far as I'm concerned. But it's, you know, if you don't get on with the new

bosses, then, you know, things have to change. And when things change, it's generally the presenter.

And so what's, I mean,

the funny thing was yesterday, all the papers were sort of saying, oh, Mark Wright's packing his, his briefcase. I thought, what for? There's a job folded in America. I mean, they're not going to
