Amen and amen. Good evening and welcome. I was going to ask you how you're doing, but I think I just got my answer. So you can be seated. So glad you're here tonight. Those of you joining us online, we are also so glad that you are joining with us tonight. So I do want to mention before we jump in that this

Tuesday is our all-church prayer meeting and it will start at 7 p.m.

For those of you online, that's the start time, Hawaii time, 7 p.m., this Tuesday, July 1st.

And I'm going to kick it off with a message about those times in our lives when God seemingly, and even from our fallen, finite perspective, unnecessarily delays only to then miraculously answer my prayers in his perfect timing.

Lord permitting, and I should say time permitting, I also am praying about and thinking

about sharing personally how God did just that in my wife and my life

in a very unexpected and powerful way.

In fact, that's the reason I am privileged to be your pastor of this God's church.

So that'll be Tuesday again, 7 p.m. hope you're able to come make plans to

attend and then once I'm done whenever that is you laughed way too quick on that one but when

I'm done then we're going to open it up for all church prayer.

We have a lot of people that have asked us, really pleaded with us,

to pray for them about some really heavy stuff.

So we'll have those prayer lists available to you for that.

You know what happens tonight?

I'm going to tell you what's going to happen tonight.

We're going to start in the book of Zachariah.

What a book. Chapter 1 tonight. That's all we could take. It's a 14 chapter book.

And what's going to come out of this first chapter and be brought to the forefront is how the onus is on us to determine how close our relationship will be with the Lord. Does that come as a surprise to you?

This is what we're going to see.
